Terms and Conditions of the “GLO x Thessaloniki International Fair 2026” Contest

British American Tobacco Hellas S.A., headquartered in Marousi, Attica, at 27 Agiou Thoma Street (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”), organizes the contest titled “GLO x Thessaloniki International Fair 2026” (hereinafter referred to as “the Contest”) as part of promoting its products. 

By participating in the contest, all participants fully and unreservedly accept the following terms: 

1. Eligibility – Conditions 

Participation is open to smokers/nicotine users who are at least 18 years old, residents of Greece, and legally competent. Employees of British American Tobacco Hellas S.A. and CREACE S.A., their partners, and their spouses or relatives up to the second degree are excluded. 

If a person who is not eligible to participate enters the Contest and is among the prize winners, their participation will be canceled, they will forfeit the relevant right, and the corresponding prize will not be awarded to them. 

2. Duration 

2.1 The Contest starts on Saturday, September 5 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Start of the Contest’) and ends on Sunday, September 13,2026 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘End of the Contest’). 

Tuesday, September 15, 2026 is designated as the date of the draw to determine the winner of the contest prize. 

 
2.2 Valid entries are those submitted within the above time limits of the contest, and after the expiration date of the contest, no entries will be accepted. 

2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to modify, shorten, or extend the duration of the Contest by amending these terms. 

3. How to Participate 

Participants, in order to take part in the contest, must:
  1. Visit the company’s pop-up store located at Thessaloniki International Fair (05-13/09/26). 

  2. Proceed with a purchase of a Hilo or Hilo+ device. 

  3. Participate in the quiz and answer all questions correctly. 

  4.  Register on-site, with the promoters' support, for the newsletter at https://www.myglo.com/en-gr and consent to receive communications via email and/or SMS and/or phone and/or Viber by providing:
           
      • Name 
      • Surname 
      • Email 
      • Date of Birth 
      • Phone number 

  5.  Finally, they need to accept these terms. 
All entries will be collected, and on the specified date mentioned above, the draw will take place to determine the prize winner. 

4. Prizes 

4.1. One (1) winner will have the chance to receive: 

- One (1) iPhone 17 

Participants will win the prize following a draw that will take place at the offices of CREACE S.A., the advertising company assisting the Organizer in conducting the Contest, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. 

Winners will be informed on the same day, namely on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as described in detail below (see Term 5). 

4.2. The prizes are strictly personal, non-transferable, and the winners of the Contest have no right to exchange them for money or other substitute items. 

5. Method of Selecting the Contest Winner 

During the draw, on the date and time specified above, one (1) lucky winner and two (2) runners-up will be selected. On the same day (15/09/2026), the Organizer, CREACE S.A., will notify each winner by phone. After accepting the prize, each winner must provide their details for prize delivery. If it is not possible to contact each winner by the 17th afternoon hour (17:00 p.m.) on the next day of the draw, namely on 16 September 2026, and they do not contact the Organizer within the above time frame (including cases of force majeure), or if at any point their participation is deemed invalid, that person permanently loses their right to the prize. The prize will then be awarded to the next runner-up in the order drawn. Communication with the alternate will occur the same day after the original winner’s right to the prize is lost.  

If none of the runners-up can be reached or their participation is deemed invalid, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the prize or award it at its absolute discretion to the next alternate, and so on. 

A “valid participation” means any entry in the Contest that meets all the following conditions: 

(a) It complies with these terms and does not violate applicable law, good morals, or public order. 

(b) It has been submitted according to the procedure described in Article 3. 

(c) It is not, in the Organizer’s judgment, the result of illegal technical influence on the Organizer’s systems or any fraud or unfair interference by the participant or a third party. 

(d) It has been submitted and recorded in the Organizer’s systems within the specified time frame. 

6. Prize Delivery 

After accepting the prize, winners will provide identification details for delivery. The prize will be collected by the winner following arrangements with the company. 

7. Personal Data – Consent Declaration  

Processing of personal data is based on:  

(a) pre-contractual measures for participation to the contest 

(b) execution of the agreement for prize delivery. Privacy policy and GDPR terms are available here

8. Modification of Terms 

The Organizer reserves the right to change these terms, shorten or extend the contest, or cancel it with prior notice. 

9. Acceptance of Terms 

9.1 Participation in the Contest requires and implies the unconditional acceptance of all these terms. 

9.2 Participation in the contest may be subject to changes or interruptions that depend entirely on the capabilities of the existing technology on which the activity is based and which are beyond the control and responsibility of the Organizer, who bears no liability for any of the above reasons. 

10. Cancellation of Participation 

The winner may be disqualified at any stage for the following reasons: 

(a) In case the winner, for any reason, does not fully accept these terms in their entirety, all of which are considered essential. 

(b) In case their participation does not comply with any of these terms. 

(c) In case, for any reason, attempts to contact the winner for prize collection prove unsuccessful.  

(d) In case, at any stage of the Contest, including the prize collection stage, the winner does not wish to accept the prize, refuses to sign an acceptance statement, or refuses to provide proof of identity such as official documents (e.g., ID card, passport, driver’s license), or for any reason does not fully accept these Terms in their entirety, all of which are considered essential, their participation will be canceled and they will permanently lose their right to the prize.  

(e) The Organizer reserves the right to cancel entries, resulting in the interested parties not participating in the contest, if their details are incomplete, offensive to the Organizer’s image, or contrary to good morals, public decency, etc. 

In any case of cancellation of the winner’s participation, the right to the prize passes to the next alternate. 

11. Organizer’s Liability 

The Organizer is not liable if, for any technical reason, it is temporarily impossible to receive and record any participant’s entry in the Contest registration system or to select the winner. In any case, the Organizer’s liability is limited to acts or omissions due to intent or gross negligence and shall in no event extend to chance occurrences or force majeure. The Organizer is not liable to the winner or participants if, due to force majeure, it is unable to fulfill its obligations under these terms. The Organizer shall not be liable for any delays or changes. 

The Organizer bears no criminal or civil liability for any problems that may arise with the prizes or as a result of them. After the expiration of the Contest period and the delivery of the prize as described above, all obligations of the Organizer cease to exist. The Organizer shall not assume any obligation whatsoever toward participants in the Contest.
