Why shouldn't you disassemble your glo™ device?

Imagine that you notice that your glo™ heated tobacco device is not working as it should, in this case, you may be tempted to repair it yourself or learn how to disassemble it to check its parts. Here's why you shouldn't disassemble or disassemble your tobacco heater and what to do if you experience a failure.

Most problems that may occur to your device can be resolved by referring to the user manual that came with your device™. We recommend that you consult it if you suspect that your device is not working properly. The manual describes most possible problems and how to fix them.

Also, if you were planning to disassemble your glo™ and carry out the repairs on your own, reading the manual will probably prevent you from doing so as you could not only damage it, but by tampering with the device, you will also void the warranty that would allow you to exchange it for a new one.

What does the glo™ device contain?

glo™ tobacco heaters are designed to be easy to use and clean without disassembling the device. But if you're still curious about the components of your device, we'll tell you what's inside so you won't be tempted to take it apart.

The main components of the device are the heating element (which heats the heated tobacco stick while using the device) and the battery. If you disassemble the glo™, you will be able to see a metal cylinder with a heating element, an electronic board and a battery inside. There is also a piece inside that causes the device to vibrate.

What is the glo™ battery?

An important element responsible for the operation of your glo™ device is the battery. Using it correctly influences the useful life of the device. Therefore, we recommend using the original USB cable that comes with each model.

Inside the glo™ battery is a part that receives electrical voltage and holds the battery charge. When using the original USB, it takes around 1h 30 min to fully charge the HYPER PRO model. A fully charged battery typically lasts up to 20 sessions, but the final number of sessions depends on the mode and usage of each person.

What should I do if my device isn't working as it should?

Please note that disassembling your glo™ will not resolve potential device issues. Instead, we recommend doing the following:

1. Make a small diagnosis: Think about the last time you charged your glo™, check that the USB charging cable is in optimal condition and that the plug or computer from which you power your device works. To check the charging status, press the control button once.
2. Avoid overheating: Your device may not work if it's overheated (for example, due to prolonged use or if it's been left in the sun for a long time) or too cold. In this case, change the environment and wait 10 to 20 minutes for it to return to its normal temperature before turning it on again.
3. Restart it: Restarting is the most effective measure to help solve various problems of our tobacco heaters. This procedure can help if Boost mode isn't working or if your device won't turn off.

It is also useful to restart the device if the control button on the outer panel of the case becomes unresponsive. To restart, press and hold the control button for 20 seconds. Once your device has restarted, you can use it immediately.
