The decision is based on a scientific assessment by the independent Committee for the Assessment of the Harmfulness of New Tobacco Products established by the Greek Ministry of Health under the legislation. The Committee assessed scientific data covering a wide range of scientific fields, including Toxicology and Chemistry, recognizing that the concentration of chemicals with recognized toxicity produced during the use of glo™ neo classic tobacco is lower compared to conventional smoking.

This is an important milestone in reducing the harm from tobacco since, based on the extensive assessment of scientific evidence, it was decided that adult smokers can be informed about this at the points where the company's tobacco heating system is available in Greece.
